Quality Engineering Engineers skilled in designing steel fabricated products draft all components using the latest AutoCAD programs, then work closely with all other departments – purchasing, jigmakers, production, assembly, and inspection – to ensure strict quality guidelines are followed throughout the manufacturing process.
Fabricating Products are easily designed around the manufacturing capabilities using the most modern steel cutting and fabricating systems available to produce quality components. For example, our Cincinnati laser system is capable of producing precision parts with a .004” tolerance, handling steel plate up to ½” thick, in sizes up to 6’ x 12’.
Other Machining Centers:
- CNC Punch Plasma Fabricator
- CNC Press Brakes in varying sizes up to 1,000 ton capacity and bed sizes up to 14 feet.
- Shears – capable of handling up to 3/8” x 12’ steel plate.
- Plate Roller – up to ¼” x 10’ steel.
- CNC Turret Punch – punching, coping, and plasma cutting of material up to 3/8” thick.
- CNC Lathe and Milling
- CNC Band Saws for bar, angle, and tube.
Welding Hydraulic welding stations are designed so each component and assembly can be positioned for ease of welding and to attain the best weld penetration. We have over 70 MIG welders are available.
Finishing All steel frames and components are thoroughly cleaned in our three-stage phosphating washer, then dried, powder coated, and finally baked in a 500 degree curing oven. The result is the best looking and finest protective finish available.
Quality Control All hydraulic cylinders, valves, and tanks are built to our rugged standards and pre-tested to ensure quality. Once the log splitters are assembled, they are crated and wrapped in a polyurethane bag keep out moisture. |
